Set Up
Draw a grid on a chalk board or poster board with six squares across and six squares down. At the top of each row write in the categories listed below. Number below each category 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. These are the points the players will gather for answering the questions. The first question in each category receives 10 points. The second question, 20 points. The third question 30 points, and so on.
CATEGORIES: HEROES * EASTER * BIBLE FACTS * NUMBERS * OLD TESTAMENT MEN * PLACES
How To Play
Divide class into two teams. Players select a captain for their team. The captain must answer for the whole team. However, all the players on a team must discuss the answer before the captain answers for them. Flip a coin to see which team will go first. 'Team One' chooses a category and how many points they will 'go for'. If they answer correctly, they receive the number of points for that question, and team two takes their turn. If they answer incorrectly, 'Team Two' may try to answer. If they are correct, they receive the points. 'Team Two' then takes their turn, even if they answered 'Team One's question after 'Team One' was unable to. Play continues back and forth until all the questions are answered.
Final Jeopardy
Some of the categories have six or seven questions. You may use these questions to play 'Final Jeopardy'. You might even allow the players to pick the Final Jeopardy category and to decide how many points they will play for. If they miss the answer to their question, they also lose the number of points they were 'playing for'.
LET'S PLAY BIBLE JEOPARDY!

At last, there is a trivia game designed specifically for Christians! This game features 120 Bible-related questions – that's two full rounds of game-play for adults and two full rounds of game-play for children.
These harder and easier Jeopardy-style questions mean you can play games involving various age groups, including adults versus children.
In other words:
This game can make for great entertainment when the eating is done at potluck suppers! |
This game can be a great fundraiser when players get sponsors and friends and family buy tickets to attend! |
Plus, this game works great in Sunday School when you are between lessons or simply want to help kids improve their Bible knowledge! |
Bible Jeopardy is the ULTIMATE tool for getting kids' minds working while they're also having lots of fun!
This Game is Just Like TV Jeopardy …
But Designed to be Used Easily in Your
Sunday School Class or at Your
Next Church or Family Gathering …
If you watch Jeopardy on television, you'll recognize our formula.
Our questions are in the form of statements and the answers are in the form of questions – the whole thing has a very authentic game-show feel.
Of course, your host won't be standing by the big digital screen that Alex Trebek does on TV … instead you will have professionally designed materials that you can easily place on the wall in your classroom or bonus room!
We have also changed the reward for correct answers from dollars to points. But just like the TV game show, questions increase in point value in each category as they also increase a little in difficulty.
Here's Exactly What's Included
In This Exciting Game:
As mentioned earlier, you get two complete rounds of Bible Jeopardy for children, plus another two for adults.
That's 120 questions and answers total!
The questions are broken down into the following six Jeopardy-like categories, all having to do with the Bible:
Places |
Heroes & Renegades |
Miracles |
Books of the Bible |
Angels & Demons |
End Times |
Where appropriate, we have included the Bible book, chapter and verse in the question, that way, if you want, you can give students a chance to look up the question before answering, which is another way to get them more familiar with their Bible.
|
|
While some questions are designed to be difficult, others require common sense answers with just a little bit of thought. This mix will allow players to feel mentally challenged throughout the game without feeling overwhelmed.
And remember if you want to mix up the ages of the players and have young kids play against older kids or kids against adults, you can use both the adults' and kids' questions in the same game.
Using the questions repeatedly won't hurt either!
This way, what players didn't get right the last time, they will remember the next time—and hopefully they will know the material for life after hearing the questions a few times.
